F. Morley to D. C. McCallum. 1862.05.01 On hand at Alexandria. 1862.05.08 “I fear [she] is destined for a short life of duty. Her Tyres are thin, and only the Back Drivers flanged, which are cut down so sharp that Derailment is of constant occurance. Her Derailment on Wednesday on the Strap Rail, bent her main connections badly, and strained her flanges inwards on her back Drivers.
