Williss, Historical Base Maps. Appomattox Manor – City Point says: St. John’s Rectory is located on the west side of present-day Prince Henry Street, several blocks from the church. The rectory is a two-story, frame Greek Revival building constructed ca. 1848. The rectory was occupied by the Union Army in 1864-65, most probably as a headquarters for the Commissary Department.
