Library of Congress says: Photograph shows a locomotive pulling an open train car loaded with chopped wood. The train is identified as “United States Military R & Rds.” and “Col. A. [mos] Beckwith.” A military camp with tents and buildings is on a hill above the tracks. Amos Beckwirth [sic] was a Major General in the U.S. Army.
